2016 Frigate Meritage

Named after the magnificent Frigate bird for its largeness and boldness, this Meritage shows lush full-bodied, ripe and rich with stewed blueberry and blackberry, pie crust, toasted walnut, dried black olive, mint, cocoa and pink peppercorn. Pair with beef brisket, classic spaghetti Bolognese or rabbit braised in black olive infused red wine.
